The great escape.

I looked out my kitchen window Saturday afternoon and I noticed Chandler digging dirt in the garden area.  Then I saw him slip under the fence.  I hurried and grabbed my camera and am I ever glad I did!  This sequence has got to be the best I've ever captured.  His facial expressions are not to be beat.  First, the cautious I hope mom and dad aren't around, the I'm safe, the dang I've been caught and I'll be busted and finally the I'm probably going to be OK because mom is taking pictures and smiling.  Now, I know that it is common for people's dogs to dig a hole under the fence to escape, but it never occurred to me that children might attempt the same.  Is life really that confining around here?  Is everyone's Saturdays this entertaining?

That is hilarious. The middle child always needs an escape.

It is a good thing boys are so cute when they are up to no good. Baden is about as cute as they come!

Three comments from Carter:

1. Is his mom proud of him?
2. Did that hurt?
3. He's happy he got under the fence.

I will say this until the day I die; Baden is one of the funniest children I have ever met. Period.

Oh, Baden was not alone in this escapade. Remember Chandler was digging and paved the way by going under first! And then Baden, Carson, Kate and Chandler back under. Baden was just the first one to not know I was watching.

Oh my goodness! I must thank you for my first out loud, belly busting laugh of this Wednesday morning! That is absolutely hilarious! SO glad you grabbed your camera!

He is unbelievably cute! It would've been great to get a video in the other side. Baden invited me to his birthday party next April.

That's the cutest sequence of pictures. This last picture looks so much like Carson, except for the smile. I never noticed that before. You have really captured some special moments with that camera.
