I can assure you that it never occurred to me that I'd be asked to speak at her funeral on that first day of school 22(!) years ago. That is until I recieved a phone call requesting that very thing this morning. I was happy to oblige.
What to say? Well, that's easy. There's so much to say. See?
What to wear? When you're 24+ weeks pregnant with #5? Well, that's the hard part.
I will be taking a Unisom tonight.

I was always jealous that you got her for a teacher! Not to mention that I wanted to be in the same class as you...good luck--you'll do an amazing job!
Hey Tash,
I'll be there too....at 27 weeks preggo. I'm not speaking though, so I'll be a little less obvious. Maybe we should stand by each other at the reception. Does two pregnant ladies by each other make it look more normal....or is it just that much stranger to see?
You will do great! Been thinking about you all morning.
Natasha, I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts. The very few times I met Mrs. Hatcher, she was so friendly and always smiling.
You'll do a great job.
I love that picture. What an honor to be chosen to speak, although nerve-wracking, I'm sure. Hope it went well.
What an honor! I wish I could have been there, had to work so it wasn't an option for me. Hope that it went well. You're such an uplifting person, I'm sure your perspective touched many people's hearts. =)
What a wonderful picture. And you still look just as cute. I hope it went well. I sure miss you guys.
You'll do great and I'm sure look as beautiful as ever at 24+ weeks pregnant with #5.
