We used to know a family who had several teenage boys. When the fighting got out of hand the punishment was that they had had to sit on a bench in front of the house holding hands. We
thought that was the best idea and mentally filed it away because we knew it would come in handy someday. Yesterday, Carson's pestering and followed by Baden's screaming brought to memory that punishment for fighting. Since we don't have a bench, I decided to kick it up a notch and have them walk down the street and back holding hands.
Haven't had to break up a fight since.
I love being a mom.

I remember hearing that....I'm pretty sure I'll be using that one someday too. Love it!
And you got a priceless picture (and memory) from it too! I had heard this form of punishment before, I thought it was genius!
HAHA That is hilarious! I might have to use that someday :)
I am cracking up. What an awesome idea!
This is a darling picture of a punishment gone well. It's a keeper. They probably started out . . ." Carson , if you didn't bug me then we wouldn't have to do this" and probably ended up with the bug in the road or the wasps nest that they found the other day.
Brilliant! I will definitely be using this suggestion. Thanks Natasha!
Thats so funny, I so need to make my boys do that! Only Eric would love to do it and embarrass Austin so Im not sure it would work for punishing Eric! :) I LOVE your t-shirts for your reunion! Such a good idea! We will have to hang out at Fred Meyer again sometime! :)
